About

Chris is an AHPRA registered psychologist with over 10 years’ experience working in areas such as crisis services, NDIS, alcohol and other drug counselling and LGBTI+
health. Chris has degrees in both counselling and psychological science and utilizes various humanistic approaches to therapy including existential and psychodynamic techniques that work to empower and mobilize the client.

 

Chris provides support to adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, facing life transitions, relationship difficulties, family issues, addictions, grief, and death-related concerns. He employs a combination of different evidence-based therapies in order to effectively and appropriately suit the individual, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Overall, Chris is an incredibly flexible and skilled therapist who balances working towards developing deep insights and practical, real world change for clients.
