Hi, my name is Tegan and I have now worked as a psychologist for over ten years. I have largely worked supporting children and families impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault and feel very passionate about human rights and equality. I am a warm, compassionate and empathetic person who prides myself on being approachable.

I love helping others and feel that I have the most amazing job in the world because I get to do that! Although I will be your sounding board and give you techniques, my role is to empower you to succeed and feel meaning and purpose in life. I am also a parent of three children ranging from toddler to teenager and as such hope that I can add some practicality to my support.

I am a General Psychologist, having completed a Bachelor of Science (major in Psychology) through USQ. I have completed an honors degree in psychology at Bond University. I have further completed a clinical diploma in Hypnotherapy AHATS and and a bachelors degree in Crime and Criminal justice (Griffith University). I hold professional registration with AHPRA and am an associate member of The Australian Psychological Society.

I have completed a large amount of training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and In hypnotherapy. I have completed a large amount of training in the fields of Domestic and Family violence, Sexual abuse, Trauma and PTSD, Grief and Loss, anxiety and depression and parenting. I also have supported clients in the LGBTQI community and those in transition. I have worked with all ages from ages 2.5 years to 90 years.
